Belgdor
Overview:
BELGDOR was developed as the firepower support VR for replacing RAIDEN which is too much expensive.  It`s a simplified version of high-level Virtuaroid RAIDEN, but its fighting ability is pretty high.  The body of RAIDEN is used for the base body, but the inexpensive lower capacity generator is mounted in it.  As the armor weight is reduced moderately, it has a better mobility than it is expected.  However, its center of gravity is rather high because a series of sight and guidance systems for homing missiles are incorporated in the head of the body.  Therefore, the stability during running is inferior to other VRs of the same type, and it's liable to falling down.

One-Point Lecture:
BELGDOR is designed as the firepower support VR from the rear.  It is characterized by well-balanced firepower such as the homing missile having good guidance ability, the napalm covering the large area, and the grenade having quick firing ability.  Although it has a problem of high center of gravity, the effective <Hit & Away> tactics is possible due to the good mobility realizing high top speed.

   * It's the most reliable bomb of all the external firearms incorporated in the currently used VRs.

   * Auto-reloading function is stabilized, and it does not run out of shells easily though the number of shells per cartridge is small.
   * The grenade launcher gun having a solid structure can be used as the hitting arms in the close-range battle.

   * It is incorporated with the hovering self-propelled unit on the outer core, and it proceeds straight being successively ignited.
   * Delayed ignition method and close-range fuse method can be used.  Each of them can be adjusted separately upon firing.
   * Napalm bombing function does not work in the close-range battle.  It's switched to the <Shoulder Tackle> mode bumping the shoulder against the enemy.
